I love the California Car Duster. In a couple of minutes, I can detail the whole car if the only issue is a fresh layer of wax. I have never had any issues with scratching or marring. The trick is with the technique. You just want the ends of the fibers to gently sweep over the paint. The wax in the fibers will attract the dust.
Note that Meg's makes a nicer version of the CA car duster -- it has an ergonomic versa handle on it. For dust dashing, tho, the smaller Callie car duster is the only game in town.

Having both, the Meguiars model is the nicer of the two. When new, fresh out of the box, they both tend to leave bits of parafin behind which is a nusiance to remove. Once they get a little dirty they seem to work much better....go figure
MortBlack......the ONLY color!

So far, everyone has been telling me to dust first before shooting some QD on the paint and wiping. Is it safe to just skip the dusting, especially when I'm not at home where my duster is?Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..
