  • NXT Tech Wax

Hey all! I just bought my first line of detailing products (all Meguiar's NXT line). I just put on my first coat of NXT Tech Wax.

How long do I have to wait to put on the 2nd coat? Although its going to be in the garage until I do the 2nd coat, should I still dust it first before applying the wax?

if it in a clean garge then you shouldn't have to dust before applying the second coat. try to wait 24 hours before applying the second coat.

Just a word of advice, there's a ton of info on this site and the boards. I've noticed your recent topics, all of which can be answered by using the search engine, which would save you some time in waiting for responses from people.

Yah, this question could've easily been answered with a search. I couldn't think of the word "cure" for the life of me.

Washing the accessories was a pain though because it would only be about a certain item, rather than all the items I was wondering about.

If there is any dust on the paint, you should remove it before applying the second coat. A pass with a body duster (from Meguiars, Oxo or CCD) followed by some NXT Speed Detailer should do the trick.

If it is warm out, 70's or higher, the NXT will probably cure in less time, for sure by 12 hours.
