What a shine i have on my new truck now it looks fabulous. I did the five step process the claying is real easy this is my first time. The main thing is to keep a lot of quick detailer on it. Thanks meguiars !!! it took about 6 hours to do the crew cab forward to the front. I will do the back end tommorrow. The only thing now is how do you take the static out of the paint it really attracts dust now. It is black.

I'm not sure it's static, unless a vehicle is not grounded correctly.
But since it's black, the dust shows up easier. And I know the feeling (see my truck in my sig).

Here's what I use to help with the dust. Now I will warn that there is a point when to much dust, needs to be left alone untill you can wash it.

I use the duster to (well) dust my truck. I then follow that up with some QD and the QD pad.

Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..

It really all depends in your environment, and your paint (hardness level). Some paints mar easier than others, so that is a determining factor as well.
For me in California, I can go about every 3rd day, and Dust and QD.
Any dust storms or heavy wind days that kick up lots of dust, and I'll leave it till I can wash.
If there is any rain or morning dew, I'll wait.

It all comes back to knowing my paint, and what will scratch. It's not cookie cutter.

        Magic,

If you arent sure if it is too much dust, then it is probably too much dust.
