  • NXT Insane Shine....

Whenever I use this stuff at the end of a detail it seems to leave a ton of over spray all over the vehicle..... looks especially horrible when doing a black car.... any ideas? maybe I shouldn't use insane shine anymore.... i kind of would like to BRUSH the stuff on the tires.... ideas would be great... :]

Are you using the aerosol or the trigger spray?

whenever i use a aerosal tire dressing, i use a piece of cardboard that i molded into sorta a "U" pattern. i hold it tucked into the wheel well and move along as i spray the tire dressing. it's worked great for me for years!

I drive a black car and use to have the same problem with the trigger spray. I don't think it's 'overspray' persay, I think it's actually flinging off of the tires and onto the paint of the car when you drive it. I changed to the aerosol can about 2 months ago and haven't had a problem since. Works and shines just as well

My Insane Shine Trigger Spray doesnt sling... but I dont think it has the best endurance. But all tires are different, sometimes you can get different results on different tires.

But with the trigger spray, you can easily spray it on a foam tire applicator. Possibly the foam product as well.

The Insane Shine Trigger Spray means zero sling, especially if you spray it on a foam applicator. You can even find halfway decent applicators made for tires at the discount store.

Also you should use the Insane Shine First, that way if any should get onto the paint, the normal QD step will take care of that.

i'm using the trigger spray..... i guess i can do that step before the clay bar / waxing.... the clay barring should take care of any of the drops that get carried onto the cars surface.. i'm just used to doing the tires dead last... i'll change my order.

Sorry if we missed that. But you are supposed to wash tires and rims first. That's what they teach at Meguiars. Come to think of it..

Meguiars has a class almost every Saturday, sign up for one. There right there in Irvine, you would really benefit. Plus get you can snag some free stuff
Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..

try High Endurance Gloss with paint brush.

no spin off and works great.
