  • DC2 and Cleaner Wax

I just bought the big bottle of cleaner wax at Big Lots, mainly for the Quick Detailer. I'd hate to waste a bottle that big so I'd like to use it. When I do the 5 step process, after applying the polish (I use DC2), would the consumer cleaner wax remove the polish?

there is a good chance that it would because A12 does have a light cleaning ability.

you could try skipping using DC1 (if you use it ) and DC2 because it is a one step. Why not just try a test spot with DC2 on one side and just A12 on the other, I believe that there is polising oils in A12. In your test spot just add your LSP on top( i don't like protection of A12). I guess you have to try it out and see it it looks any better, the same or not as good.

I use a cleaner wax (ColorX)often, as it is good for daily drivers and quick details. But just watch you use it in the right part of the process.

      1. Wash
      2. Clay as needed
      3. Clean
      4. Polish
      5. Wax

      Or:

      1. Wash
      2. Clay as needed
      3. Cleaner/Wax
      4. Wax

      Hope that helps...
