  • Volvo Before and After

Here are some before and after pics of a 2005 Volvo. The interior of the car is in great condition but the outside had been neglected for a few months. Under all that dirt the paint was pretty much swirl free, so here is the process I used:

washed with megs gc ,two buckets with gritt guard
    megs wheel brightner
    colorx with p/c 8006 pad
    megs caranuba p/c 9006 pad
removed with p/c and mf bonnet
    stoners invisible glass
megs all season dressing on tires and exterior trim

It coulda used it ,but i will probly do it on the next full detail. I had a Honda CRX I had to do after the Volvo , that was full of water spots and that required a little more attention and time.

How did you work the ColorX via PC. Like applying wax or did you use it like you where buffing (overlapping passes, slow arm movement, left-right then up and down)?

          Looks awesome!!!
Let's make all of the cars shiny!

I work the colorx like you would # 80 or any polish.I was sold on colorx after i saw the post Mike Phillips did on that Bronco .I think its a great one step and is definately worth having in your arsonal.I usually use a good LSP to top it and have great results with it in less time.
