I've used a product called Wheel Wax before. It was nice, but overly pricey, and didn't last more than a couple of years (it would separate out and couldn't be remixed). It was in paste form.
Now I use a sealant -- specifically Klasse SG just because I have it (and need to use it up), but once that's done, I plan on going with NXT wax or #21 sealant (or event #20). Use liquid form; it's easier to apply.
The thinking with wheels is that it's better to go with a synthetic product over a carnauba product, because it'll last longer, and stand up better to the heat of the wheels.
I've used a product called Wheel Wax, which to me was just glorified carnuauba wax. I've since switched to a sealant product (specifically NXT wax), which lasts longer because it bonds tighter. As mentioned above, sealants will probably last longer because they can withstand the elements and heat better than carnauba waxes.
One additional thought. Since your wheels are clearcoated, treat them just as you would your clearcoat paint. You can clay them, polish, then follow up with a wax or sealant. They'll look great!
