    Just watched the 60 Vette clay video. Learned somethings. I noticed you taped your wedding band. I have never done that. I will from now on. I know I have been risking scratches by not doing that. I can't remove mine, too fat or bid knuckles
    Plus it's nice to watch video on computer now that I broad band!

    As a practice, I don't take my wedding band off, so I tape mine with painters tape before and during any detailing work.

    I know Meguiar's and others recommend removing watches, belts, rings and any other jewelry or items that might scratch the paint, but for myself I leave my ring on and put tape around it.

    If you do this, you'll find you'll have to re-apply the tape around your ring and finger as working with your hands and tools tends to loose and wear-off the tape. No big deal, only takes a few seconds.
