Checked the BigLots in my area and the store had tons of Meguiars brushes and scads of Quik Detail Pads, too bad I have multiples of all of them.

I was looking for a wheel spoke brush but no luck with that one.

Hmmm, I just came back from the Big Lots Here in Houston. I bought a Wheel Spoke Brush for 3.99. Other things I bought were the Versa Angle Tire Brush, SLide Lock Detail Brush, All Surface Interior Brush, Meguiar Tire gel?, and this Meguiars product I had never seen before, strips of Meguiars Car Wash? 20 strips for 1.99.

check back after the sale is over and see if they mark the items down anymore. sometimes, they want to get rid of their inventory and will add another discount on top of the already low price.
I'm hoping they will but at the same time hoping not because I bought a hand full of items. but heck, can't beat this price!

I believe the ad ends Sunday June 3rd.
but if they still have a large quanity left, either it goes back to regular price or they discount it even more to get rid of the inventory.

If the sale ends today, Sunday June 4, then I went just in time last night. I got there at 8:30 and they close at 9. I almost found nothing but the Tire Brush, then I walked out and spotted it all, I was suprised!!

These are the things I managed to stock up on, all for 20$...mind the quality of the pic its from my phone...



ANd then they had a detailing kit for 9.99 with a HUGE I mean HUGE bottle of Quik Detailer. Heavy!

They still have this going on. I just stopped up there just now and got $30 worth. Pretty much the same as SL1CK got except the slidelock, got that yesterday. I also got the Quik detailer/cleanerwax for 9.99. Both were 32oz. Looks like the older style but as people on here said its the same ingredients.

Yeah it is the old style you can tell by the label and design, but its just as effective !

the 2 around me only had a few spoke brushes ,car brushes and some Quik detail pads bought a couple of each.

I did find the kit at Sams so I did pretty well on Saturday.

Looks like they added more items.
They now have both the Deep Pile Chenille Wash Mitt & Ultra Plush Wash Mitt at $2.99 each.
that's a good price to stock up on these bay boys.

I've done some serious shopping at Big Lots. I go everytime I go to the area. I've made three trips as of late. I bought 3 slide locks, 2 tire brushes, 6 detail pads, a wide brush, a spoke brush, and 2 interior brushes. I am afraid of them being discontinued. I love the detail pads and the slide locks work GREAT with GC dash foam. I have to see about this wash mitt deal now! Hopefully they add the towels.

It's amazing how useful some of these products really are. Now, tire brushes and body brushes are not that new, but I do like Meg's spin on things with the versa-angle handles. However, the applicators that look like white bars of microfiber and the detail applicator pads (bone-shaped, yellow) are just incredible. I bought them as a sort of "what the heck" thinking, but find myself reaching for them all the time. And am very sad when they're dirty and in the pile of things to be washed . . . .

none of these gc accessories are going to be discontinued. but heck... for the price, you might as well stock up as it's like buying two for the price of one!
