Can someone tell me of a good paint cleaner/polish tha
    I can apply with hand?
Or is it better to use these products seperately?
Also, if you wash, clay, clen, polish, wax and maintain
wouldn't that be a 6 step process instead of 5?
Please clarify this for me. Thanks.

The clay bar and paint cleaner are both considered as step 2. The clay gets above surface contaminents and the paint cleaner gets below surface ones.

You will have to shop for professional line products to get a cleaner/polish combo. They are all designed to be used with a machine (I called Meg's hotline and asked about this). IMO, If your doing it by hand then there is no need to spend the extra money on the pro line.

I will recommend the Deep Crystal System. You can get the DC#1 paint cleaner and DC#2 polish for around $6 a bottle. Then top both with your favorite wax.
Watch your pennies and your dollars will take care of themself.

If you’re looking for a cleaner to use by hand I’d suggest ScratchX.

There are enough polishing oils in cleaners like ScratchX and Deep Crystal Step 1 that you may find you don’t need a separate polish step but you can follow with Deep Crystal Step 2 or #7 or whatever if you like.

You can use some of the pro cleaner/polishes, like #80 and #9 by hand. It’s just that they’re primarily intended for machine use and tend to be too mild if you’re trying to remove swirls and scratches by hand.
