Deep Crystal Polish-Is it safe to use?

Is Maguiars Deep Crystal polish safe for clear coats?The reason I ask is because on the bottle it has no mention that it is clear coat safe.Thanks Joe

Yes, Deep Crystal Step #2 Polish is safe to use on all forms of automotive paint, even fresh repaints that have not yet cured. It's utterly nonabrasive too, in case you were wondering.

Yes, completely safe and effective.

clear coat finishes have been used on the Corvette since at least 1982 because the finish on this Corvette is factory original.


While this antique, original clear coat finish from 1982 was not cleaned using the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, it was cleaned and polished using all Meguiar's products.




That's 24 years and a few years ago we used to put "Clear Coat Safe" on our products but because 99.9% of all cars, truck and s.u.v.s have clear coat finishes on them it's kind of just expected that any Consumer product we make is going to be safe for both clear coat finishes and single stage finishes.

In fact, every paint care product Meguiar's makes is safe for both clear coat finishes and single stage finishes.

I use the DC #1, #2 and #3 on my old Escort with a single stage paint. Made that factory red show up like a jem. Here is a shot of it durning a car show I entered. I still use the same system on my 2002 ZX2 factory paint with great results as well. Can't go wrong with this system at all.
