Quite a few people say to use APC or APC + to clean interiors. Have you tryed that? I'm getting this next friday in the mail so i don't know how it is personally but i'm just going by what i see on here.

sorry, i dont no what apc or apc+ is, i did a google search and searched meguires site without much luck, i tried a product called interior plus which is made here locally in perth australia, its an excellect product that is non caustic and soft on paint and plastic, we use it like a degreaser, unfortunatly thats not working, the trim deailer has left like an oily film on the dash, as if oil has been rubbed into it, brand new Subaru liberty sti, and she messes up the dash........

I love the Nxt Tech Protectant on my Subaru dash, though the All-Season Dressing looks good too, though a bit shinier. But back to the point...

At least we know the trim detailer is durable. All-Purpose Cleaner (APC) would be a good choice, but I dont know if things in the Detailer Line are available to you?

Do you know if you can get Detailer Line Products? If not, another good choice would probably be #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner. It might even work better.

meguairs makes a vinyl and rubber protectant , http://www.meguiars.com/?vinyl-rubbe...ber-Protectant , which can be used on interior, and exterior trim/etc. Rubber/vinyl protects of that matter usual leave an oily/greasy film on surfaces.
The same applies for the GC trim detailer.

I apply the vinyl/rubber portectant all the time on my car interior, and yes, it does leave a slightly oily residue. Howver, after a few days/weeks, the film eventually wears off. Im not sure if it evaporates or if the sun's rays do something to it, but your problem SHOULD go away with time.

You can buy APC to fix it, but give it a few days to 2 weeks and see if it doesnt improve, and Im pretty sure ull see that the 'greasy look' will wear off.

It sounds like you used too much product. All vinyl dressings are really concentrated (Meg's and other brands). A little bit goes a long way.

The dressings do fade and evaporate over time, which is why they need to be reapplied. So probably the best bet is to just wipe with a dry towel daily to accelerate this process. It will go away over a few weeks.
