Hi everyone, Im pretty new here, as of posting, but have been enjoying all the great insight and info for about a year. My Question is regarding pollen, I just stepped outside to do alittle detailing and found my 06 Treg covered in it. I did a wash and dry and within a couple of minutes it has specks all over it. Does pollen scratch when applying Speed Glaze or waxing. Or should I just wait till this pollenation stops, which could be afew more weeks. Also under closer inspection of my finish after the wash the surface is alittle bumpy still so is doing the claying first ok followed by #80DA and then NXT
    Thnx in advance

First, let me be the first to welcome you to MOL. The best way to remove pollen from your vehicle would be to use Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit. This product is safe and easy to use. After you have used the clay product then you can go ahead and use your M80 Speed Glaze and follow it with the NXT Tech Wax. If in the future you have any questions or concerns or would like to place orders, please fill free to give me a call. Again, welcome to MOL!

You'll want to have a clean finish to work on... you'll probably be a lot happier just waiting a week or two.

If you need quick protection, a wash, then a quick coat of Cleaner/Wax or ColorX would probably be best to beat the pollen for now.

We have several large pine trees in our back yard. As we were working outside last weekend, a neighbor came over and asked if we were painting the previous week. Apparently a large yellow cloud wafted from our yard to his and left a yellow film on his cars. Yup, you guessed it-pollen!! I am still not sure he believed us, but our truck was covered too, as well as our door, siding-it even came off the grass when I mowed it!!
