I use it for light dust as well. I remember seeing on the tag that it says you could wash it I think.

I use it all the time, so much pollen floating around. I wash the car, and in less than 20mins, my car is pollenized again! Black car + pollen = BAD

I don't use the California Car Duster anymore. Instead, I use a Zwipes Microfiber duster. Unlike the CCD, it doesn't contain paraffin wax. Plus, it's a breeze to clean - just remove the brush from the handle and toss it in the washer.

Oh yeah, and it's under $7 at Wal-Mart.

I use to use the ccd now I have replaced it with the megs one and use it everytime before I cover my car to get the dust off, dust + carcover = lots of scratches, any way I use that before I cover and follow with the last touch foam detailer excellent results. But like everyone else has said only light dust. Greg

I just assume If I'm going to go over the entire car with a duster, I might as well take 5 or 10 more minutes and break out the QD and some microfibers.
