Well... are you going to be doing all the work by hand or do you have a PC or rotary?

Well, I can't help you with the rotary as I have very little experience with one.

As for the PC, I use #80 all the time, works very well. Meguiars states to use the least aggressive product for the job and thats why I continue to use #80 with the Meguiars Polishing Pad(W8006). I have found no need to step to #83 but each situation can be different. #80 is easy to work with, easy to apply and easy to remove.

Starting with a cleaner/polish like #80 or #83 will help remove the swirls and bring that shine back! Then follow up with NXT Generation Tech Wax(paste or liquid) or #21 Synthetic Sealant. I have used NXT since it was introduced and have liked i the product very well, now I have changed to #21 on my last detail and I am very happy with it as well.

Here is #80, #81 then #21 on my truck:

You will be more than happy with 83, 80 NXT or 21
How about maybe some #7 Pure Polish, NXT Glass Cleaner,
Supreme Shine Microfibres in my opinion the best around !

            What are you working on
            Model/Make?
            Condition?

            etc
It will never be clean enough!

Just so you know I had to go to another message board to get this smilie... nothing here fit the bill for my reaction to your Cobra.

I like the durablility of #26. Not only does it smell great, but it has a shine that lasts a long time!

like domobrien mentioned adding a pure polish to your list, a pure polish will add just a little more to the look... I can see the difference when I add a pure polish to my black truck, now if you are not super picky as I am, a pure polish is not totally necessary. Meguiars cleaner/polishes(#80, #83) polish up very nice.

domobrien mentioned #7, another Meguiars pure polish is #81 Hand Polish (can be used with a PC) and my preferred pure polish.

                      Nice vehicles too!
