Any of Meguiar's "cleaner" or "cleaner/polish" products, Deep Crystal step 1, ScratchX, #9, #80, #82, MPPC, etc, etc, will clean without leaving wax.
Chemistry. If the formula can break the molecular bonds between the dirt and the paint while in it's liquid state, cause those contaminants to absorb into the carrier and allow the wax (or sealant) to displace the contaminants while it bonds to the paint and then cures, voila, cleaner/wax.
