  • gold class wax

I just bought a new car and I want to protect the paint. I am currently using the gold class wax. I know it's a polish/wax mixture. Because it's a mixture and not a pure wax, does it mean that the product won't protect as well as pure waxes? Is it a little more dilluted?
Also, I heard this wax doesn't last that long. Anyone know how long it lasts?

    Hi hobby, to MOL!

Gold Class is one of Meguiar’s top-tier products. As such, it should provide protection for quite some time. Meguiar’s uses the term polish/wax to refer to waxes that are close to pure waxes but with some extra depth/gloss enhancing. Other companies use the word “polish” for products that Meguiar’s would call cleaner/waxes.

There’s no way to predict how long wax will last on your paint in your environment. There are just too many factors that affect longevity. That knowledge can only come from experience.
