  • Hi Tech Yellow Wax

Hi, does anyone know if hi tech yellow wax,has been changed, in any way in the last ten years. The reason i ask, is because i have not used it for twelve years, but would like to start using this product again, because, i remember how it used to darken the paint. Can anyone tell me if it is the same as it used to be,colour, smell, etc, thanks in advance william.

I believe it has been reformulated just sligtly.. Meguairs will upgrade products as time goes on, for ease of use, durability, etc.

But it is still a good carnuba blend that looks great on dark colors. You shouldnt be disapointed.

Thanks, do you know if it is still a yellow colour, and has a banana/coconut smell to it?

I just bought some high-tech yellow wax #26, and used it over the weekend. I can't really say that it's banana-ie or coconut-ie in smell -- it smells like wax to me (which is a good thing!), similar to GC liquid . . . .

OK, after posting the above, I have since done another car with #26 and focused on the smells. It does have a banana smell to it, perhaps with coconut overtones. My wife agreed. So it's still "in there"!
