Newbie with ?

Just got turned on to this site, although I've used Mequiars products for "recreational" use before, I've never attempted anything with a motorized polisher.

I'm attempting to resurrect the paint and finish on my daily driver; which is a 66 Chrysler 300. Car is from California, has door dings and paint chips ect..........but I want to get rid of the oxydization and put a protective finish on her.

I bought a Clarke 7" variable speed polisher with some foam pads and a whole slew of Meguiars products.

Now I need help and some suggestions from the more experienced folks that are on line.

If this works, I've got a few cars I will attempt next

do a search and i think you'll find some posts discussing this topic. I remember reading some stuff about it.
