  • One last question,

Is it ok to rinse off my car before it rains to get the dust and bird droppings off without drying it off??
I have noticed that when it rains the water does not spot on the finish, even though I waxed it last week.
    Thanks,
    Sentrarob

This should be best, you do want to get bird feces off as soon as possible... I would also not dry off the car with any kind of towel without ensuring you have fully washed the car w/soap and wash mitt, this way their is less of a chance of marring the paint.

Forgot to mention that depending on your situation you could use a QD.

Never let bird droppings sit. Even if you have to wipe a little with a towel, it is easier to remove a swirl than a bird etching.
