I'm looking to build a three step system like the DC 3-step out of professional products. I was thinking #2, #7 and #26. How does #2 compare to the DC step 1. Will it swirl the paint enough that #7 couldn't fix it? I will be using a PC with the correct pads. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I think that there is a new #2, so i can't really comment on it, also thinking back i dont thik i have tried M02 yet
but #7 will not do any really cleaning, it is just a pure polish and it is ment to be used with a W9006 pad, i use it at speed 4
#26 is one of my favorite waxes!Patrick Yu

#26 is a "blend"....
Hi-Tech Yellow Wax is a premium yellow Carnauba wax blended with silicones, polymers and other waxes. Adds richness and depth of color. Provides ultimate high gloss protection to any previously cleaned and polished paint finish. Available in liquid or paste.

I know you are thinking of a '3-step process', and want to focus on separete cleaning, polishing , waxing steps, but I would have to say you really should consider having #80 and #83 on your shelf eve nthough they are cleaner/polishes, and perhaps skipping #2 for now.
#80 and #83, or #82/#9 are all very good cleaners with swirl removal ability, and really are the go-to products for the PC. Many people will still follow them up with #7, a pure polish, and then a wax step.
But its up to you.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
