I dont think a complete How-to has ever been made for the clay bar. There is an ok write-up of a how-to over at bettercarcare.com.
A clay bar may or may not remove your wax... it may remove wax in some area, or not. So it is better to just to assume it is removing your wax, and you will want to follow up with clean/polish/wax steps.
As far as how to use it, it is easiest to just jump in and do it. Wash the car and dry it. Spray the lube on the surface generously, wipe the clay bar around until it stops feeling grabby. Then move on to the next section. Imagine maybe 1 or 2 foot squares. When you are done with an area, dry the excess lube off with a MF towel. As you go, flip the clay over after each section, to check the dirt build up. Once it starts to look dirty, fold the clay so the dirt goes to the inside, and exposes new clay.
Remember, the clay bar may do more than one car, but dont be afriad to use all of the QD bottle on one car. Better safe with excess QD.
