  • Plast-X can it be applied by machine?

I finally found some "packets" of plast-x at the local auto store.

I wet sanded my headlights (they were in bad shape) started out with 320-400-600-800-1000-1500-2000 grit, then I used plast-x about 3 different applications.

The headlights have no scratches in them now and are pretty clear however they aren't like they were new..

Would it be ok to use a grinder at a slow speed with a buffing wheel and plast-x on them? or is there a risk of it melting the headlight?

I think if it is ok it would polish just enough to make them crystal clear...
    Thanks!

you would need something in the lines of a pc or other orbittal. a rotery would probably generate to much heat to fast. just my opinion.
