What to use under NXT paste?

I got a can of NXT paste that I want to try out on my little brothers car. No real prep will go into it because he does not take care of it, he uses tunnel carwashes and its a POS Saturn that he is getting rid of in a year.

I just am playing with his car if you will. What products can be used under NXT as I understand NXT has cleaners in it that will remove a glaze or something non Megs like PB's polish with carnuba.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If all you want to do is play around, just give the car a good wash, and use a cleaner like Deep Crystal #1. It is cheap, easy, and a good cleaner. Then just follow up with Nxt.

You could also use ColorX followed by Nxt, but I think the ColorX will cost a couple bucks more.

I have pretty much every detailing product known to man so I am thinking I will either use AIO or Prime Strong then put the NXT down. I was hoping to find out that there was something I could put under the NXT, that is my main complaint about NXT as a LSP, it removes other products.

NXT has very light cleaners so I don't think it removes all that much.
