  • cement spots on side of car

Dont ask me how they got there but it looks like the owner of the car drove through wet cement and it got slung up onto the side of the car, it has dried and has bonded to the paint, I have tried keeping it wet with damp towels, used solvent, degreaser but nothing will remove it from the paint, has anyone got any suggestions????

i guess you could be very careful and spot clay that part

if that doesn't work then you need to try a plastic razor blade

Try some distilled white vinegar. Soak it in and repeat application as necessary. Safe and effective.

The vinegar worked for me. I drove through a construction zone and got cement slung up the passenger side. Someone here suggested a 50/50 mix of water & vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray, let it sit, spray again. It took about 5 or 6 sprays and about 30 minutes until it was brittle enough to break off with my thumb - watch out for scratching the paint while it's coming off.
