I'll be trying that technique on my next detail! Oh, and by the way, you still have a ziptie on your rims!

Yeah, I'll go pick up a paint brush before my next car wash. Might even pick up a non-aerosol bottle of NXT Insane Shine while I'm at it - if I can find a store that actually carries it around here...

They're hub caps, not rims... probably to hold them in place.

The tire in the last picture belongs to the car of my sister in law and the zipties are supposed to prevent the thiefs from stealing the hubcaps

This black chevrolet malibu belongs to my sister in law she's 3 months pregnant and she was having problems with her baby so she was in bed for this past 3 months and of course her car was too, but thank God she's out of danger and she's allowed to drive again so I gave her car a little makeover as a little present. Re: Best Tire Shine

I've used so many different tire shines its pathetic, however i found a tire shine about 5 yrs ago i absolutely love and i have used it since, there is no sling off onto the body of your car,you simply spray it on and thats it - its that simple, its called "Onyx Professional Tire Shine " you can order it online ( google it ) , you will NOT be disappointed, it gives the deep, dark, wet look, and it lasts for at least 4 - 5 days unless of course it rains heavily.

Glad you like it... but 4-5 days in fine weather isn't that long!

I like the smell of endurance, but I now use that on the inside of my car. It looks super and lasts a long time. For the tires...insane shine is my favorite.

+1 that's what I use too and I love it, but I think you mean D163 not M163, the Trim & Tire Gel, right? It leaves a nice matte finish and lasts quite a while, a week for sure, longer still as long as its not torrential rain fall and you can stay off of dirt roads. No problems with sling either. I might have to try the paint brush trick. That looks like it works really well. You can get into all the nooks and crannies and it won't deteriorate like a foam tire applicator

I have to recant what I said about Onyx Professional Tire Shine - I mentioned that it lasts " at least 4 - 5 days", I was wrong, I was rushing when i originally created this post, however on second thought this AMAZING STUFF lasts at least a week keeping in mind a nasty down pour or driving through dirt...then of course you imply clean and add more.
