  • Scratch X and a Cyclo

Just got my new Cyclo it works GREAT !
I had repaired some rock chips and sanded them down
with 2000 grit then polished out with scratch X. This worked,
it took a lot of times and a lot of pressure. My car has other
scratches on it and I did the whole car with scratch X.
I would like to use something that would cut better than
the scratch X for the whole car that would require less pressure
    and time working an area.
I used a yellow pad with the scratch X.
    Thanks, Kevin

    hi blkhole,

im glad you got satisfactory results. it should be noted though that meguiars doesnt recommend using scratchx with the PC or cyclo. That said ... to keep in track with a phrase that mike seems to have nailed into our brains (thankyou mike) always use the least aggressive product to get the job done... i would look at something like #9 and if you wish to go more aggressive #80 then #83 if that doesnt work. all will add beauty to your paint whilst you remove the imperfections. a typical detail for me would be #80 followed by #7 then sealed in with NXT

    hope this helped

and dont forget to post up some pictures of your detail
