New '04 Black MDX

I just bought a Black Acura MDX and I was wondering if it is okay to wax the vehicle. I noticed that the dealer applied a wax of some sort since they missed getting some of it off.

What products are safe to use right now that will help protect my paint without creating swirl marks on my paint. I have a porter cable buffer and meguiar's products that I use on my other vehicles.

I have just started going all meguiars products here recently and what I put on my brand new vehicle was:

The combos are endless but if you look in my signature area at the pics of my new black truck, I used:

Deep Crystal Cleaner #1
Deep Crystal Polish #2
NXT Wax (2 coat method)


I have also used with very good results:
#9 2.0
Deep Crystal Polish #2
NXT Wax (2 coat method)

One thing for sure is NXT Wax all the way on a black vehicle! Since you already have a PC you are set and ready to go and will get some great end results.

EDIT: the NXT Wax "2 coat method" I use is: apply and remove one coat of NXT wax, wait 12 hours or so for the coat to set up then apply and remove a second coat of NXT Wax. By doing this I have gotten a much deeper looking finish.
