  • Cleaning Foam Pads w/ brush w/ G100 on like you would a rotary?

I was wondering if it's okay to use this brush to remove excess product from a pad with the G100 on.

It says it's for use with a rotary and considering a rotary and DA operate differently as in the DA has two motions would it be ok to use this brush on the foam pad w/ the G100 on safetly to clean or remove any excess product?
I know different ways to clean foam pads from this link
How to Clean Meguiar's Foam Buffing Pads
But I was just thinking it would be better and quicker to use this brush to remove excess product, rather than just using a terry cloth or mf alone.

The simple answer is that the brush won't clean the pad on a DA.
    I want 4" Softbuff pads!

I know it'll sling off dried product from the surface of it. Like after taking out a polishing pad that previously was used w/ #80 from a plastic bag I use for storing it, it has dried product on the surface of it. I was wondering if it would be ok to use this technique (put the pad on a backing plate w/ the DA and turn it on low speed, while using the brush to sling off loose dry product) before using the pad again, considering that the brush was made for rotarys. But I'd use a mf or terry cloth to remove product from a saturated pad, when I am detailing.
