what is the best product to use on a Jeep YJ hard top. buddy has one and was just wanting to make sure?

Any idea what its made out of?
Im only asking to be sure.

I think the CJ/YJ/TJ hardtops are made out of fiberglass and then painted. No idea what to use on them.Comment

With the jeep hardtop I had, they were made of fiberglass. Trouble is that the exterior has a very rough texture and will eat up anything you try to apply a dressing with . It always left it with tons of lint and chunks of sponge whenever I would wash it and dry it.
