    what is the best product to use on a Jeep YJ hard top. buddy has one and was just wanting to make sure?

    that's all.

    its black if that matters?

    Any idea what its made out of?
    Im only asking to be sure.
    Im assuming its made of vinyl

      yeah i'm assuming the same.

      thinking the vinyl, rubber, trim protector is the right thing?

        I think the CJ/YJ/TJ hardtops are made out of fiberglass and then painted. No idea what to use on them.

          With the jeep hardtop I had, they were made of fiberglass. Trouble is that the exterior has a very rough texture and will eat up anything you try to apply a dressing with . It always left it with tons of lint and chunks of sponge whenever I would wash it and dry it.
