Hello,
Few weeks ago I tried to polish my car (2000 Black BMW 540) using a wool cutting pad on a rotary buffer to remove some minor scratches. Unfortunately, since I am not a pro, this created swirl marks and haze which are visible under the direct sunlight. I was wondering if you can tell me how I can get rid of these marks and have a nice shine and protection, preferably using the products I already have which include the following:
MG Detailing Clay
MG Quick detailer
MG ScratchX
Deep Crystal Cleaner
MG Swirl Remover (#9)
NXT Wax
MG Gold Class Clear Coat Paste was
High Tech Yellow Wax
Show Car Glaze (#7)
MG Cleaner Wax
Deep Crystal Polish
Porter Cable Random Orbit Polisher with the standard white foam pad
MG Burgundy foam pad
A Rotary buffer
Wool cutting pads
Presta Polish 1500
Presta Ultra Light Cut
Nu Finnish Scratch Doctor
Many pieces of Microfiber Cloth
One unhappy Black BMW
If I need to use PC polisher, at what speed should it be set?
I have been reading the posts in this forum and I realize that MG 80 series polisher will be a good choice but I was wondering if I can achieve the same result with what I already have?
Thanks in advance.
