Ok, so I detail my fathers car. Shampoo the floor mats and rinse with water. I drag out the shop vac to vacuum up most of the water. I finish with the shop vac and roll it back into utility room. Big stupid mistake. Didn't even think about dumping the water out. A couple weeks later, the wife gets the shop vac out to vacuum the Tahoe............needless to say I get a call at work with a not so happy wife. Can you imagine the smell of the exhaust the vacuum puts out after dirt and water has sit in there for a couple weeks. Yes, mold and mildew had set up. That was not a pleasant chore, cleaning that thing out. Take my advice, always remember to dump the water out. On the bright side........I found a new use for APC. Cleaned the shop vac right up. Smells alot better too. I try so hard to be stupid sometimes.

Ahh, Yes.... I too know that smell! Not good is it.
