I have a 2005 bright yellow chevy pick up and after a recent detail using the clay bar system and meguairs speed glaze using pc and meguairs #26 also using pc I have what appears to be small scratches (almost looks like single spider webs) on the hood although they cannot be felt with my nail but when the sun shines on them just right they stick out like a sore thumb (sorry pictures are not possible because my camera does not have good enough resolution). The hood is the only spot on the vehicle that has the marks so I am assuming it was either done with the clay (might have picked something up in it) or when I dried the vehicle at some point in time prior to switching to the water magnet for drying. To be honest they may have been there for some time just went unnoticed Note all products were removed with Meg's gold class icrofiber towels. Without pictures showing the issue what would be a good recomendation to "polish" the hood to remove the scratches, I prefer to us the pc but will do by hand if required I was considering scratch X but since the defect cannot really be felt by my finger nail I thought scratch x may be to abbrasive. I was thinking more along the line of a pure polish then sealing it again with some #26

A pure polish will do nothing to those scratches, since pure polishes contain no abbrassives.
I've taken out Scratches that were bearly felt, with out a problem with Scratch X.
It works great for spot problems. If it were a larger area I'd say the PC and some #80 or #83. But Scratch X is the way to go!
