  • scratch x application terry towels->microfiber

    would it be alright to apply scratch X for the first few applications with a good ole' terry towel? And then do the last 1-2 applications with the foam applicator pad and/or MF towel????

    Th reason being is i think the terry fibers would give the scratch x more of a 'bite' persay. And I think the last applications using something softer such as an MF or foam applicator would get rid of any marring caused by the terry?

    whats your say in this?

    thanks

    Yes, you can apply with terry cloth towel, or old white athletic sock inside out.

    Using a MF towel probably isnt the best way to apply any product, it would be best to finish up with the foam applicator.

      I really messed up my hood using ScratchX. I think that it was largely becuse I applied it with a terry covered foam applicator. I too wanted some bite. I got much more than I wanted. I'd stick with just foam pads if I were you.

        scratchX doesnt seem to have helped on my paint. I see many swirls still, even after using Meguiars Microfiber towel (cotton white not polyster) anyone have some tips??
