Hello, I have been following this forum for a while and am very impressed on how nice and helpful every one is. I am new to this and want to get some information on how to detail my car. I just bought the PC so that I can sell my car. I'm sure I bought the wrong stuff, but it is all that the store had and I figure it is better than nothing. Any way, I have never did this so any help would be appreciated. I bought Deep Crystal paint cleaner, DC Polish, Tech wax, scratch X, Gold Class car wash. microfiber towels, I have 3 pads for the PC. When do I use the PC and in what order to I use the products? Thanks for any help. Mike

Welcome!
As for the products you have selected that's a good starting point. I would try to find a clay bar system to give you better than average results for resale value.
You can try this link for a surface and product evaluation
PC's a good choice to apply almost all your products. Some people caution about using the PC and Scratch-X though.
Tech wax is a great product easy on, easy off, almost no dust during removal.
Steps for your detail
1. wash GC car wash
2. clay (optional)
3. DC cleaner w/ 8006 (yellow) pad. Speed 4-4.5
4. DC polish w/8006 pad or 9006 pad. speed 4-4.5
5. Tech wax 9006 pad if didn't use in previous step or by hand. Speed with PC 4-4.5
Spread product with PC then remove with MF. If difficult to remove you can try terry then MF buff for finish.
I polish and wax by hand for now, but do a final buff with pc and ultimate bonnet speed at 3.
As for the scratch-x, I would use on problem areas after the cleaner. Not to sure on this one though.
Good luck and post any more questions you might have.
