  • M80

IM A NOVICE WITH A NEW PC. Is there anyhitng that I should be careful when using M80? What are the steps, if any, that I should know when using this product? I have a black Blaser with little swirl marks.

Well, even if you dont get it right the first time, you wont be able to do any damage. You may cause a swirl or two, but they are easily removed once you get some practice.

      hey jsuper,

M80 is one of the easiest cleaner polishes to use. What I do is start with a clean 8006 polishing pad, Place an X of M80 on the polishing pad, set the PC to 5 and work an area of 2ftx2ft. Work the product into the paint until M80 turns slightly opace(spelling). The M80 should still be wet. Do one panel at a time.( apply product and remove product) Make sure not to go to a dry buff or you may instill more swirl marks. After ever 1 to 2 panels hold a clean 100% cotton terry towel or micro fiber towel over the pad and turn on the PC to help soak up/clean some product from the pad. When working the 2x2 area go in different directions left to right up down and diagonal. Hope this helps and good luck.

        opace & spelling

what is opace or spelling. Should I keep working it in until it is dry? After it is dry should you buff it with a micro fiber pad? You also said something about using a miscro fiber towel or terry cloth. I don't understand what you are to do with it.

          Hi J,

By opace Andrew means opaque/clear, when you have done a "2 x "2 section use a microfibre cloth to wipe it down and after 4 or so panels take a clean MF cloth wrap the pad in it and switch on the PC that way you don't overload the pad with product.......HTH.

PS DO NOT work the prduct until it is dry it should still be damp when removing
