  • NXT over Carnuba?

I have about 3 applications over several months of NXT Tech wax, then 2 applications of Carnuba wax,and was wondering if putting NXT wax over the carnuba would be a no no or is it time to strip off the old wax and and start again.By the way whats the difference between NXT Tech wax and NXT Spray wax as i seem to have acquired a bottle of each ...Thanks

If you would like to "top" one layer of wax with another product, to get a deeper gloss, the way to do this would be NXT followed by Carnauba.

In your situation I would use the NXT wax followed by the spray wax to maintain the wax-layer.....
This is just where the spraywax is made for.... to maintain the protection of the NXT wax between the waxing sessions...

Spray wax is a "booster" wax. Paste or liquid doesn't matter, its whatever is better for you to use.

You shouldn't have to strip the wax, however if you wanted to, it wouldn't hurt. Let the NXT set for a while (I think Meguiars recommends 24 hours, but I could be wrong) then apply the carnuba.
Let's make all of the cars shiny!
