need help with meg products

New member, first time on. I have a 1968 English Ford. Although
the car has always been garaged, It was never polished therefore
the paint is dull,watermarked and swirls.I have tried polishes with out results. I tried 3m polishing compound. after eight passes
with a pc orbital I managed to remove the water marks. Meguiars
has recomended m80 mirror glaze. Can someone tell what results
they got with this. Do I have to follow up with something else before using NXT tech wax. Would the 82 or 83 do a better job?
Any help would be appreciated.

As to your specific question, the success of using #80 depends on many factors including the paint's hardness, the severity of the swirls, depth of the swirls/marring, what tool is being used to apply it as well as the skill level of the person using the equipment. Therefore, all I can say is that #80 when used with a G100 and a Polishing Pad following the info found in the above links can do an amazing job.
