  • PC speed/pad on different products question

    for...
    MPPC

    Show Car Glaze

    M-26 Yellow Wax

On my first time using MPPC I kept my PC on 3.5-4.0 was that a good speed for it ?

Show car glaze was applied by hand, but next time I want to try with a PC,which pad/speed would you guys recomend ?

M-26 or any kind of wax I prefer by hand.

    Thanks

I'd use a W8006 pad at 4.5 for the cleaner and the glaze. I also like to apply the top coat by hand. As a general rule of thumb if you don't know what speed to run the PC at, 4.5 is good.

There are a lot of "Car Crazies" that like to apply wax and polymers with a PC too. Either way works just fine.

Good choices of product BTW. All of them are among my favorites.

jfelbab gave you good advice about using 4 1/2 speed for MPPC...But I've found out that 5 does a better job if you have some hard to remove defects.

I like to use the W-7006 pad with MPPC (With a PC) a lot myself, but it is not endorsed by Meguiars for this purpose, so, you have to decide what works best for you.
