There are equivalents in Oz, they're just hard to find. I'll start a new thread if this is too off-topic, but will using a current converter affect the G-100's warranty at all?
    I think you're absoluteley correct

The simple plug converter in only for dual voltage devices like shavers and hair dryers, and yes the AC frequency will definately alter the motor speed. Will it blow, well that's another question

best way to remove paint defects by hand..... scratch X, a terry cloth and a lot of passion and anger management issues........a few bandaids might come in handy too when u get blisters......

Anyway I was thinking about it some more. The PC is variable speed so its probably rectified to a DC motor, which should be fine. Can someone shed some light on this?

benhui, why not just buy a case of beer so all your mates suddenly appear to help you out?

I live in norway and we also have the 220v/110v problem. So i just ordered a 750w converter from dvdoverseas.com or whatever it was called. Cost me 33$ plus shipping, a bargain if you ask me. Quite heavy and enough power for the polisher.
