Before that, I want to thank everyone who replied. Your help, and the incredible amount of knowledge on this site, were directly responsible for...
...Drum Roll Please...
...GETTING RID OF ALL THE SCRATCHES!!!
And...indirectly, saving my relationship with my over-eager girlfriend!
Anyway, I applied 3-5 applications of ScratchX after washing and drying with some new Meguiar's goodies I picked up. After the scratches all but disappeared...some minor "scuffs" still remain, but you have to look REALLY hard to find them...I went on to wax the Altima with some ColorX.
In the near future, after my "shipment" comes in, I'll be doing the 5 steps regularly with me newly-purchased goodies.
So...thanks again, and I apologize for the lack of pics...
I once let the Dealership wash my car when I had it serviced, I figured they'd hose it down and dry it, but oh no, they let some kid loose on it with a rubbin compound...
lets just say that they know me now as "Clean Jeep Guy" so they dont even try to wash it, its kind of a joke with them... they keep telling me jeeps aren't meant to be clean.
My oldest is only 12 and has already asked me if I would help him take care of his car when he gets one.
Sometimes I get up early on Saturday morning and wash my 19 year old's Mustang. When he comes out, we finish it up together. Gives me a chance to check out his tires and see if he's been cornering hard! or out of alignment or needs rotation.

Congrats on restoring your paint. I had one customer recently who suffered the same thing, but that gf is now his ex.
Here's what it looked like before I worked on it.
There were lots of deep gouges that with even a rotary buffer and M83 or M84 they wouldn't come out. However, it was "good enough" for the customer considering he thought his car would look like this forever until it got repainted.
Sorry I don't have of the restored pictures.
