  • APC Dilution with the Generic Bottle (D20100)

Well I just bought my first gallon of APC, but the local dealer didn't have the proper APC bottle, only generic bottles (D20100).
How can I correctly dilute the APC on this bottle (10:1, 4:1)

    Thanks,

    use a measuring cup.
    1 cup equals 8oz.
    2 cups = 16oz.

      Hi:

      To determine:

Divide the container size in oz. by the sum of the product ratio.

      Example:

To fill a 32 oz. bottle at a 64:1 dilution.

      32 oz. / (64 +1) = .49 oz. or approximately 1/2 oz.

Measure out the correct amount of water (31 1/2 oz.), fill the bottle.

Add the APC and you are ready.

Use the above formula to calculate whatever product strength you like.

        Like this?

        10:1
        32oz / (10+1) = 2.90oz APC
        32oz - 2.90oz = 29.1oz water

        4:1
        32oz / (4+1) = 6.4oz APC
        32oz - 6.4oz = 25.6oz water
