  • #83 Not available in Austrlia.

Mike maybe u can help shead some light in my favour. I live in Australia and #83 dual action cleaner polish is not avaliable.

Is their any other products that i can use in substitution for #83, if i want to use an orbital buffer or rotory?

Have read many positive reviews on using #80 and #83 combo, but sadly #83 is not available. Need a product used by machine,

i have used other hand applied products ie (scratch X) to remove micro marring. The result seem ok, but in direct sun light slight marring visability is still showing. i want a product that will create a flawless finish

The car i'm working on is an acura tsx with metallic silver paint.

i can get the following in perth (state of australia) from the professional line .

    Diamond Cut Compound #85

    Speed Glaze #80

    Quick Detailer #66

    Swirl Remover 2.0 #9

    Showcar Glaze #7

    Fine Cut Cleaner #2

    Medium Cut Cleaner #1

any help from mike or other forum members will be appciated.

    Hi Toi Boi,

    First... Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Second, you listed M80 Speed Glaze in the list of product available to you, at our Saturday classes, one of the things we always show is M80 Speed Glaze because about 99% of the time, it will remove most light swirls and scratches and take the finish of a person's car to a level that is acceptable to them.

For the deeper swirls and scratches that it didn't remove in one pass, we explain that while switching to M83 is one alternative, another alternative is to wipe off the remaining residue and make a second pass over the same area with the M80 Speed Glaze, even a 3rd and 4th pass.

It's really just a matter of spending some time with this product to get the results you want with this fairly Bubba-Proof product.
