  • Removing scratches from Plastic Head Light lens

I have an Integra with clear plastic head light lens with a few scratches. Can I wet sand to remove these or try a DA buffer with Plastic Polish? Any ideas would be appreciated. I do have a rotary and a DA available. Thanks for the help.

Try using Plastx with a Polishing pad and DA. You will find that the plastx will clean and polish up your lenses. A little bit of product goes a long way. Remove the product with a micro fiber towel.

I have not polished my lenses as yet but do need to. Here are a few products out of the Pro line to look at in addition to the Plastix:

      #10 Clear Plastic Polish

      Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish

      #17 Clear Plastic Cleaner

      Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner

      #18 Clear Plastic Detailer

      Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Detailer

Also, if you try the Plastix or the Pro Line stuff and it still is not to your liking. You can look at the following for some ideas from others.:
