what can i do to maintain it?

everyone did a great job helping me at the detail day, and now I'm eager to go out and use all these cool products I have sitting in my bag.

so, the car is dusty right now. ive been driving it for over a week. im guessing i need to do a full wash, then add another coat of wax? how often is too much for another layer of wax?

Anytime you wax you should always do a full wash... I wax (only NXT) my truck about every 4-6weeks everyother waxing I will do the full deal, clay if needed/cleaner/polish/wax. Something that I have setup based on whats talked about here and what others do and I just enjoy doing it.

If i went out right now and just dusted the thing it would look a million times better, but im afraid of causing scratches. can i use a microfiber towel on it and dust it off? I have a duster from my old car, but i think thats not the best thing to do anymore ...

i feel like im walking on pins and needles with it now

Well, first, it has only been four days since I saw the excellent results!

If it is just dusty, gentle use of a Cal Car Duster, a good QD, and a MF towel should put it right back where it was Saturday. In another week, NXT Spray Wax would make sense.

Can you wax too often? I don't think so.

i didnt think a cal duster would be on the approved list.... but i do own one. ill be gentle...
