PS. awesome mower too!
LOL
Got a few weird looks.
That Honda is a mowing machine. I had just gave it a bath,
changed oil, sparkplug, airfilter and sharpend blades. Now the hard part, I love to mow AND detail.
P.S. Got a great deal on it too!!! Lets say a certain home center did not know what they had. Less than half price

Was it the Home Depot? They run some crazy closeout deals, I have found a few myself! Guy at work bought a Honda 3 speed(not the hydrostatic) on closeout and saved $150.00

Yep, HD! This thing was still in the box! Retailed for 700.00. Marked 289.00 A "tad" better than the Craftsman I had
Originally posted by gb387 That had to be a mistake! can't beat that price, even more so knowing its a hydrostatic.
I double checked it. I wrote down the model # and UPC. Took it to CS and they confirmed it! Had to restrain my grin.
Bought right then. They had 2 others non- hydro for same price. Wanted to buy them to resell them. A week later I went back and they were gone . Talked to a clerk about it and told him about the Honda. He said, "so you are the one who bought it". It was a mistake. OOOPPPs on their part.
Been happily mowing since then. Been 3 years now and no probs.
Honda mowers are the absolute best going....I have the 215 which is noe sold under Honda's classic line and after 14 years or so mine is still going strong. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny.
Originally posted by sneek i have a 15 year old craftsman and it still runs great but its a bit loud so i am looking to get a new one so i might take a look at a honda
If you are willing to spend a little more they are well worth it!
