Okay, so I was working DACP and 80 agianst my wife's car trying remove some cob webs.
The process is like this (only doing a 2x2 area on the hood, trying to figure out which process will net the best results before moving on to the whole car)....
Pull car in garage. Hit it with DACP 83, wipe. Check looks good. Hit it with 80, wipe. Looks great. Pull it outside. Most deep marks are gone, but there is a certain angle in the sun which the sun "rays' are visible and look like they have cob webs. (Often seen on botched rotary jobs).
Pull car in garage, hit it with just 80. Pull it out. Same result. Pull inside, hit with 80, speed up to 5.5, more pressure, same result. Each time I am wiping all adjacent panels from residue.
Pull inside, drill it with some 83, 5.5 speed, nice and agressive. Really work the product until I'm almost dry buffing. Pull outsde. Slight micromarring, pulls the same "sun rays".
Pull inside, hit it hard with 80, then follow up light with 80. Pull it outside. The sun was blinding me but the "sun rays" where still there.
I deciede to remove my glasses (to eliminate some of the glare) and the "rays" dissapear.
Examine the glasses, they are covered with a slight flim of grease . Wipe glasses clean, put them back on, and the "rays" are still gone.
Yes it took me an hour to realise that it was my glasses.
BTW, it only took minimal buffing with 80 to remove the marks on the rest of the car and I was done an hour and half later.
