  • Most temperature resistant wax?

I'm sure the chemists at Meguiar's have properties information like this. I'm putting in some suspension pieces into my car, like a strut bar which goes into the engine bay. I'd like to put a coat of wax on it first, but I know it's going to be a bit warm in there.

Which wax will survive these kinds of temperature? I don't imagine the bar itself will go over boiling point, but probably somewhere near 200F. This kind of information would also be useful for the wheels which probably get warm from the brakes.

I would say your best bet would be #21 or NXT.

I have used NXT a few times on my wheels and it seems to hold up well. Just allied #21 last weekend and I am sure I will see similar results.
