Can I get a link for a How To for caring for chrome tailpipes?

  • #2
    Well, there's not really a How-to link.

But, you would be able to use the Nxt Metal Polysh and the Hot-Rims Chrome Cleaner.

Get the heavy dirt off with the cleaner, then polish them up.

Thanks RZ--I did see that post, but your pipes were pretty far gone before you got a chance to work on them, and I don;t want to have to remove them to work on them--they are tucked up inside cut-outs, so I can't get to them with a machine. Also, I was afraid that the wax would cause staining when the pipes heated up--I have no basis for thinking this, just a thought that ran through my mind from years of finding ways to screw things up!
