Detailing tomorrow, quick question for ya

So i am gonna clay my car tomorrow. I clayed a strip this week so that i could put pinstripes on. They're the 3M kind, and they look hardcore i think. My question is this. I'm gonna be putting polish on along with 2 coats of wax in the next two days. Should i apply right over my pinstripes? Or should i tape over them and only apply junk around them?

Hey,

It depends on the pinstripes. Some will cause the wax to get caught along the edges, creating extra work. I would try it over a test spot and see how it reacts. If the edges catch too much wax, then I would avoid waxing over the pinstripes.
